After being revived by a crazed scientist, you're sent planetside to try and get the resources necessary to wake up the rest of the Hope's colonists and settle on this strange new world. You, along with your fellow colonists aboard the transport ship Hope, have been deep in cryosleep and drifting in space for more than sixty years. Here in the Halcyon system, corporate greed is good and consumerism reigns supreme. This is The Outer Worlds the way it was meant to be played, remastered with enhanced graphics with more animations, better game performance, an increased level cap, and all the downloadable content from the original release packed in for good measure. It's time to thaw out of cryosleep once again and revisit the Halcyon system in THE OUTER WORLDS: SPACER'S CHOICE EDITION. Player choice is key, with decisions directing the path the story takes, as well as how other characters react to your presence. Violence is both constant and graphic, with no shortage of blood and gore shown onscreen. Strong profanity is used frequently in the game's dialogue. The game has a dark sense of humor that also parodies the power and influence that corporations have on our daily lives. Players take on the role of a colonist that's been trapped in hibernation for seventy years before being freed by a scientist and enlisted to find a way to revive your fellow stranded colonists. This is a remastered version of the original 2019 The Outer Worlds release, with enhanced visuals, an extended level cap, gameplay improvements, and all the original game's previously release downloadable content (DLC). Parents need to know that The Outer Worlds: Spacer's Choice Edition is a downloadable science fiction themed first-person action/role-playing game, available for Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, and Windows-based PCs.
